Minneapolis' Home Free wins NBC 'Sing-Off' show

The vocal quintet won the grand prize Monday on NBC’s “The Sing-Off,” an a cappella vocal competition. The group earned $100,000 and a recording contract. Check out the videos.

Minnesota Laura Osnes won a national competition in 2007. Home Free was terrific. Congratulations to them!

WOW! I don't know if it displaces my Christmas favorite, "Little Drummer Boy", but if not it sure is a close second. Fantastic job by the group and by Jewel.

The show that Laura Osnes won on was "You're the One That I Want" on NBC. I can't believe Jon Bream forgot that one, considering the success Laura has had since then—leads in several Broadway plays, two Tony nominations, and appearances at "The Kennedy Center Honors" and the White House.
