I left BC/BS and Medica for UCare. Although they weren't bad, UCare does a much better job of covering Medicare insurees, in my opinion, at about 20% less. Do the math.

And where did UCare get the money to fund the required insurance reserves for its new commercial product? Obviously, they used profits from their public programs. Legal? Maybe. Appropriate? Absolutely not!

How does Ucare with no real business plan and serving only public program clients, go from nothing in 2002 to over a billion dollars in 2007? Why are their clients paying exorbitant premiums while Feldman gives away hundreds of millions of Ucares money to her pals and charities of her choice? Obviously the government has been overpaying Ucare and Feldman for many years, in fact she said so in a letter to legislators dated 3-16-11(when Ucare gave the state a refund of 30 million in Medicaid over payments). I wonder if they'll let her wear the tiara in prison?
