And the scope of the studies seems like it is just a rehashing of the past studies with nothing new! Do they think that spending $27,000 on a spin master will really change the public's mind. As a progressive, I'm ashamed of yet another poor use of our tax payer dollars that is benefiting the burbs at the expense of Minneapolis, and will just increase sprawl. Send this line through a populous area of Minneapolis so that we get some benefit!

The problem with SWLRT is that it doesn't serve Minneapolis. No amount of cajoling and schmoozing will change that. It is misleading to call hiring spin doctors "public involvement."

Perhaps the citizens of MN should hire a PR firm to inform the Governor, Met Council and other supporters with myopic zeal on this initiative that it is a bad idea and putting lip stick on a pig does not improve the reality of the situation! The reality is that due diligence was not proprperly done and what is on the table are a series of poor decisions. The tragedy is that politicians and power brokers will diligently work to develop a compromise solution of poor decisions. Poor leadership and poor governance.
