The governor's administration saves far fewer papers than its predecessor. That could stir interest if he is chosen for higher office.

I was born and raised in Minn. but now live in Las Vegas NV. I'm hoping that John McCain will pick our Gov. Jim Gibbons. If for no other reason that we would get rid of an idiot that accidentally got elected. I don't think that McCain would chose someone so close to his home state. Maybe he will take Pawlenty from Minn. so YOU can get rid of an idiot. Here's hoping!!!

The blank slate description is a perfect metaphor for what our Governor has accomplished while in office. When his term expires, a piece of the old 35W bridge, some remnants of closed bars due to the smoking ban, a Twins jersey representing his devotion to having Hennepin County residents pay for a billion dollar stadium, and perhaps a tax stamp from a cigarette pack to remind us of his broken promises not to raise taxes should be the entire contents of a Pawlenty archive.

Pawlenty will NOT be selected as McScam's running mate, so his lack of papers isn't gonna matter. Unfortunately, we're stuck with this jerk as governor for the next couple of years.

Be a shame if his computer hard drives accidentally got recycled with latent data still on them. Yup, a BIG shame. It'd also be a BIG shame if they happened to end up on the desk of a political reporter instead of the city dump.

Pawlenty may be a total condescending brown nosing veep republican a**hole wannabe, who is unwilling to invest in our infrastructure and continues to let businesses and the rich go without paying their fair share of taxes.. But an idiot? naa.. He’s smart... but so was Ted Kaczynski. Ventura was an idiot, thin skinned and also, in another attempt to sell a new book, just as self serving... Does anyone remember how ‘humbled’ Pawlenty was when he beat Hatch by the smallest of margins, in no small part because of “what is E-85? What is it? Judi Dutcher”? He looked in the camera and for the fleetest of moments seemed almost, a l m o s t, like he had the first genuinely humble experience in his political career. It lasted all of the length of that news clip... So please Mr. McCain, take our governor under your embattled old wings, to greater heights of public scrutiny... and if you have a free claw, grab Carol Molnau too...

I've always found it amazing how critical people are of whomever is in office. It doesn't matter who is there, they are always going to be the object of petty scorn and derision. Why, because people of this generation are unwilling to accept blame for anything. They must always blame someone else. The economy is bad -- it must be the president. Gas costs too much -- it must be the president (not the fact that half the population drives gas-guzzing SUVs alone to work). The state doesn't have enough money for roads and schools -- it must be the governor. Hospital care costs too much -- it must be the governor. If ignorance is bliss, there are a lot of happy people in this world. Happy, selfish people, who only blame others.

I don't believe anyone who has Harry Reid for a Senator should be casting insults toward anyone.
