I hate to see anyone get fired. But Frazier needs to find different work. Perhaps some type of leadership as he does well with people skills. But I don't see him as a coordinator or a head coach.

Leslie Frasier is a super human being. And by the way the players are still playing hard for him with nothing to gain (except auditioning for teams for next year) he shows he can keep a locker room together. Not an easy leadership task and kudos to him for that. But Leslie Frasier is certainly not one of the games innovators or creative types. He needs to surround himself with the creative and innovative to succeed. The fact is Musgrave and Williams are neither innovative or creative either and by the way they handle position battles, personnel on the field and in-game adjustments I question if they can coach the talent they are given to work with. How much of that falls on Frasier I have no idea. In my opinion the first thing that needs to happen after the season is to let Musgrave and Williams go. The new coordinators will be able to install their systems with the new QB and players. Keeping Frasier would help with the continuity he mentioned and still make the necessary changes to improve the product on the field. However, I would not be surprised if the Wilfs clean coaching house completely. Spielman gets a pass this year and his detractors will be disappointed. While his FA acquisitions have been poor his building the team through the draft have been very good. And long term successful teams are built through the draft and not free agency.

"knee jerk decision"??????? 3 years to determine that Ponder is not an NFL QB is hardly a knee jerk decision or that E. Henderson is a backup LB and special teams player and not a starting MLB, etc. This Vikings team still had a very good nucleus of good players. The main problems were that 1)Speilman didn't sign any depth or FA's at their weakest spots (DB's, LB's) and 2) Frazier went with his veteran friends instead of putting the young guys on the field (Rhodes,Patterson, Floyd, Cole, etc.) and last but not least, Speilman and Frazier were married to Ponder.

Frazier, we love you, but you gotta go!!! Like everyone says, you are a great guy, but you tanked the opportunity. You allowed your emotions to overrule logic and wrecked what could have been a good season. Consider yourself FIRED!!!

Be carful what you wish for. The Wilfs or Spielman could do a lot worse. Who selected Childres and Frazier?

Check with the University of Minnesota about how effective firing coaches can be. Bierman, Warmath, Stoll, Salem, Gutekunst, Mason, Brewster. Look back and see how close many games were and this could be a playoff team. My suggestion is that fans who think they can coach should go out and try it.

The only thing that still confuses me is the "Christian gives us the best chance to win" line. You seriously can say that with a straight face? You wasted half a season. While there are many other positions of need, who knows what could have been.

Frazier has the right attitude... He's a good Man for it and a great role model for young black men... It's obvious the players like him, they have played from the heart the last two weeks. This team is a few players away from being back at the top of the division....
