Time for Shabazz to step up and provide scoring off the bench. So far Flips first draft has been a huge bust, as Dieng and Bazzy hardly sniff hardwood. Not what you want from 2 first rounders. Let the kids play, Adelman. They couldn't do any worse than our current bench production.

We will be better than the Blazers when Budinger and Turiaf return. Flip needs to get last years draft pick Bojan Dubljević out of Valencia and on the team. He is exactly the player this team needs to couple with Love and Pek, a 6' 10" 242 lb. power forward who can score. Like Pek he is from Montenegro and was chosen as the Eurocup Rising Star this year.

Portland is definitely building a contender the right way. They are young, athletic, have prime time players (via savvy draft choices) and play good defense. Pay attention to this game folks as it will be real telling about the Wolves strength/weaknesses, particularly on foot speed on defense and production out of the PG spot. I am pulling for our locals but have a bad feeling about tonight.

Thankfully, Portland played last night which should help--I hope.

manolive, I agree, but Rick doesn't experiment. He also doesn't pull starters when they're struggling and fatigued. Rick, IMO, doesn't do much of anything that's creative. No risk, no reward.

Wolves team is full of losers from top down so it's no hope unless Glen sells the team to someone who cares.
