These hokey PR statements make me crazy. You did what you did b/c you wanted more money, Target. And fine with that ... but how stupid do you think people are? this is exactly why many of us feel that ethics have left business. $$$$

Well, Target better get ready to not having any CDs to sell in their stores then. Same for DVDs and Video games. The days of delivering media on physical discs is coming to an end.

Poor Target. Its feelings got hurt.

So, Target won't sell the physical CD at all because it came out digitally first? What kind of sense does that make? Beyonce is one of only a handful of artists whose physical CDs people will buy anymore. I could see if they didn't want to pay extra for the exclusive CD rights, but not selling it their stores? Sounds like a real crybaby move.

Last time I was in Target they carried House of Cards, which came out on Netflix months before it was on DVD. Is this different?

Maybe they couldn't order enough copies to keep stocked on their shelves anyways.

Thanks Target. I guess that means I won't get my shot at a mediocre, over-hyped singer. My loss.

This year Target has said no to Paula Deen's AND Beyoncé's merchandise. Oh the humanity!
