Good thinking, St Paul. I think St Paul's quick and simple 20-hour emergency gives more opportunities to take advantage of these short warm periods than Minneapolis's awkward 3-day schedule.

I did notice that MPLS had sent the road graders down the alleys last night. Everybody's garbage cans were plowed in with a foot ridge of snow and ice. I did shovel mine out while the car warmed up but I looked to be the only one who did on my block or the next. Bet that made for a long day for the garbage guys as today is our route pickup day.

Looks like St Paul is hurting for money! I guess now they can generate some revenue from Tickets and towing!

"Looks like St Paul is hurting for money! I guess now they can generate some revenue from Tickets and towing!"----Or maybe, just maybe, not everything is some sort of political conspiracy and they want their very difficult to navigate roads cleared up. Good for them, it's been a rough few weeks over there.

"Looks like St Paul is hurting for money! I guess now they can generate some revenue from Tickets and towing!" - Do you really think St. Paul makes money from snow emergencies? Between labor, fuel, and salt, I'm sure they're bleeding money on these things.
