Sheriff: Colorado school gunman wanted to hurt many more but killed himself within 2 minutes

CENTENNIAL, Colo. — A teenager who wounded a fellow student before killing himself at a suburban Denver high school entered the building with a shotgun, a machete, three Molotov cocktails and ammunition strapped to his body, likely intending to track down a librarian who had disciplined him, authorities said Saturday.

Is the motive even relevant? Let's say the kid wanted to shoot the teacher because the teacher chewed him out for being late to practice again. Are we supposed to go, "Oh, well that explains it."

Do you want to be taken seriously ... or just be another snarky Second Amendment idolator, glibly and callously reacting to the next in line of these tragic situations?

Of course it didn't. But did it provide him a means to act out on whatever demons were driving him? Of course it did.

That sheriff is a mind reader. He said he knew why the shooter committed suicide. The sheriff also knew the shooter's intent. What the sheriff doesn't know is the definition of arsenal.

"So how is all that strict Colorado gun control working for you?"---Please report all the strict Colorado gun controls! Name them all! Seems to me there an awful lot of guns owned and sold in Colorado and many people are killed in Denver and surrounding suburbs. Please name the restrictions on gun ownership in CO.
