Too bad we couldn't get a win with Love in the zone. Terrible officiating. Moving screens everywhere. Parker twice took four steps driving for layups, pushing off and flopping all over. Has he ever been fined for flopping?

I had to laugh when after the loss Tom Hanneman said it was a "great game". Proving that, yes, we're still the Wolves and it's a great game whenever we make a premier team sweat a little before the inevitable collapse. Way, way too many easy baskets. Way too many wide-open looks. Pek, one of the biggest guys in the NBA, plays like one of the smallest under the hoop. And Dante, what in the world are you doing out there. When do we play Detroit again?

Tough one...

I am angry! The officials putting the whistles in their pockets the last two minutes was bad enough. But when Love and Martin are being overplayed and Rubio has to be counted on to make long jump shots to keep the Wolves in the game because there is no one on the bench Adelman trusts to put in the game, and the Wolves run out of gas and lose, I see red. The Spurs bench outscored the Wolves 55-12. Go ahead, take out Ginobli's 20 points and nine assists and the Wolves bench was still outscored by 23 points. I cringed when Barea and Shved went in to the game because I knew the Wolves' lead would vanish. Between Barea's incessant dribbling and Barea and Shved getting schooled by Parker and Ginobli...Mbah a Moute isn't the player I thought he wss. He has been a liability the past couple of games. Is Martin hurt, or sick? He has been a non-factor. The worst thing is that great games by Love and Pek were wasted because the Wolves didn't have a third go-to player. After that miraculous third quarter Love was obviously blown. That, and Boris Diaw flashed back to when he was 21 while guarding Love in the fourth quarter. Another trade is needed - soon! Love has to get some help or he WILL bolt in 2015.

Agree, a little defense would help.

I get that the hometown team gets calls (we do at home too) but what's clear here is The Wolves are 30th in the league in FG% given up. You can't hide from that by saying it's the refs fault. I have to agree with goldengoph on the easy baskets and wide open looks take. We have to be leading the league in layups and dunks allowed in the 4th quarter. We have to play better defense or we're going no where.

Quit complaining about the officiating....I get so tired of this. The Wolves lost to a much better team...end of story.

This team has no bench. Even if Love scored 60 points, Wolves would still lost the game.

The Spurs are the better team. All the more reason they don't need help from the refs. For sure, don't want excuses - the defense must dramatically improve.

Big Pek may look like a bit of a goon but he plays too much like a sweet little girl. If he's not gonna block or alter any shots he should think about putting some of these guys waltzing to the hoop all the time on their butts with the occasional hard foul.
