Yeo better "right this ship" or he's gone. I don't think he's the man to lead them or steer this ship. Fletch and he both need to go.

Totally predictable. They won't come close to sniffing the playoffs again this season. They don't deserve to be there anyways. Time for another changing of the guard at the top. Fletcher and Yeo have failed miserably. Team is too soft, no grit, skill-challenged, and coach challenged. They'd be fantastic in one of those fancy European non-checking leagues but in the NHL they're garbage.

This franchise needs to do two things right now: 1.) It needs to commit to a youth movement and roster guys like Coyle, Nino, Granlund (when healthy), Fontaine, Haula, Zucker, and Bulmer for the rest of the year. 2.) It needs to play a style of hockey that actually showcases the skill-set this young talent offers. It MUST quit playing some foolish style of hockey that's totally suited for some other imaginary team that lurks in the viscera of Mike Yeo's perceptual pith. This organization doesn't need to get bigger; it needs to get smarter. Admit it or not, this team--when playing a skilled, possession style game--skated circles around Anaheim and LA to open the season. Now look at it.

i don't have a big problem with this least they didn't look like pylons on the ice for 35 minutes as they did in their loss to anaheim. i'm thinking haula will probably be a more effective 2nd line center than coyle...just hope they don't lose too much ground in the playoff hunt before they consider this switch.

Even strength they actually played pretty well. I just want the ref that called a double-minor on Konopka for absolutely nothing to get suspended for a few games. The rule is you can't call a penalty if you don't see it. He turned around and saw the guy on the ground and called a double-minor on the closest Wild player. It was ridiculous.

The Mild need to get with it. Embellishment, gooning and sticking up for your teammates are all things that help modern day hockey teams win modern day hockey games. Oh yeah, they do it the Mike Yeo way - whatever that is. Flip flopping players and lines, no toughness, no fire yadda yadda ya.

Sameold sameold as ever year. Other teams improve we stay the same! No talent to skate it in so dump it in. Want to draw pen's make them take the puck away from you. Don't throw it away with a bad pass! Almost as bad as vikqueens and twikes. State of confusion.

lindy_frank123Dec. 13, 13 1:24 AM

@quickrick you don't have a clue...they don't have the size to "fight back"...that's the first step with Fletch...sign and draft BIG SKILL FULL PLAYERS! enough with the speedy stick handlers...and a get a coach that has some NHL experience.

This team is getting very frustrating to watch on the road. they are a disaster. They can't score, can't hit, can't coordinate a power play, and get clobbered by everyone. And just think- they have four more away games which means Backstrom will play two. Guys like Coyle, Heatley, brodziak, etc. better learn how to score a goal.Very boring...... also, please dump jamie the fox girl and her stupid tweets. Real hockey fans deserve more than listening to her gibberish and Mike Greenlay describing another losing game in his own inane style. god help us!

lindy_frank123Dec. 13, 13 2:37 AM

Fletcher needs to do something NOW! What is he waiting for? A six game slide? If they miss the playoffs this year...Yeo is toast and Fletch should too...I thought these young guys were going to be ready to contribute. Hardly..Coyle and Nino have disappeared.
