Please dont bomb like Hicks!

Five years from now, it will be fun watching him in the majors.

The kid is the best player in the minor leagues. The twins "coddle" their top prospects at the expense of productivity and saving money. Put the kid on the field like 99% of other organizations would or keep my tickets.

Hicks failed in the majors because we brought him up too early, and now people are calling for us to make the same mistake with Buxton? You can't mess around with a kid this good.

Hicks failed because the twins wanted him to switch hit, he is a natural right hand hitter. Let him be himself and he will excel. Also did teams hold back on Myers, Griffey Jr. Trout, Yount and on and on and many of these players did not win awards like Buxton. The Twins manage the organization to be mediocre without taking any chances on their young talent and the fans and the team suffer for it.

I love Ryan's comment that Buxton had a very good year after the announcement of the award. Highly likely to see BB at Target Field sometime next season.

"The Twins manage the organization to be mediocre ...." Seriously? Do you really think this is their goal?

Batted only .212? Oh he is definately going to make the cut at Spring Training, he'll fit right in!

@ Lumbering: It may not be their goal but it has been their results. Actually, mediocre would be great based on the last 3 years.

fuzzypilgrim "Batted only .212? Oh he is definately going to make the cut at Spring Training, he'll fit right in!" He only played a few games in the Az. fall league before the Twins decided to shut him down because of a sore shoulder. Look at his stats from the whole season and the reason he was named the best propect in all of pro baseball. He is the real deal, if he is not playing for the Twins in 2014, he will be in 2015. I hope he forces them to bring him up after the all star game by burning up AA & AAA.
