The problem with Taylor is that he doesn't have a clue. Tell me what McHale, Kahn, and Saunders did prior to taking over the Wolves that made him believe they were qualified? We are stuck in mediocrity!

Happy to see the Gophers do well this year, Sid, and hoping they will be even better next year. But the bowl stat you cited doesn't mean a lot in this modern era of bowls. I'd trade all 11 bowls the Gophers have been to in the last 15 years for the two Rose Bowls that Purdue and Penn State went to during that period. (Not to mention the five for Wisconsin.)

So Taylor rationalizes the losses by saying that we played some tough teams..... what does he think the wolves are going to run into, if they make the playoffs? A good NBA team, beats the other good teams.... not the powder puff lower end of the NBA. Call me when that becomes a reality.

"Greenway still is ranked as the best linebacker on the Vikings roster".... Geez... I actually giggled a bit when I read that one.....Call me when you get to the point where you can draw attention to a linebacker on this team, and say, "he is one of the best in the NFL."

Good take on Chad Greenway Sid. Greenway has given and continues to give a positive take to the term, Minnesota Viking through out his career. As remote a chance as it may be, wouldn't it be nice to bring Eric Decker back to Minnesota as a Viking?

Glen Taylor disappointed. Couldn't that have been written nearly every year he's owned the club? I'm amazed at how someone like Taylor can be such a successful businessman with his printing world and yet be absolutely incompetent when it comes to owning a basketball team. His hires, fires, under the table deals, overall management of this team have been amateurish, at best.

Chad Greenway is having anything but a great season. In fact, this is probably one of the worst seasons as he appears slower and out of position. He may be the best linebacker on the Vikings Roster, but that is like saying his 1971 Ford Pinto is better than the 2 Yugo's playing next to him.

Eden Prairie should have won the state F.B. championship. Look at the size of the school, the money the district has, and a head coach who doesn't have to worry about prepping to teach 5 class periods a day. Most districts do not allow their A.D.'s to coach, so E.P. pretty much has created a full time football coach position. Looks like it's working!

Eric Decker's break out year??? Obviously Sid hasn't been watching pro football the past 2 years.

Greenway only leads the team in tackles because he gets 6-7 tackles a game on guys that have beat him for a short to medium gain. He cannot cover any WR or even a TE. He has slowed down a ton and most of his other tackles come automatic from being a MLB on this team. Time to get over the players we have and get some real game changers on the team.
