Good to see Smith coming back. To the Vikings, get rid of the ugliest pants in football, the purple ones. What terrible taste whoever came up with that idea has.

Have you looked that the Notre Dame teams that Smith played on? The guy is used to playing meaningless games late in the season.

Many reasons why the Vikes had a tough season, Smith gone for most of the season is a big one. Our secondary should be much stronger going into 2014.

No reason to bring this kid back, let him heal completely. Don't get me wrong' love this kid, but seriously this season is over.

It will be great to have Harrison Smith back. Our secondary starters should really be Smith and Sendejo who is a much better player than Jamarca Sandford.

I agree Smith and Sendejo would make a great pair at safety. Good hitters, nice pursuit to the ball. Hard to believe Sendejo was playing behind Sanford and mistackle raymond. Oh wait not so hard to believe, Frazier is the coach. Very poor judge of player ability and talent. McNabb, Ponder, hendersen vs Cole etc. etc. etc.

LETS TALK ABOUT WHAT REALLY MATTERS THE QB POSITION.LETS SIGN WHOEVER THE BEARS DONT WANT EITHER CUTLER OR MCNOWN.I WOULD STILL DRAFT A QB EARLY SO WE CAN GROOM HIM TO TAKE OVER SOME DAY.THIS WOULD SOLVE THE PRESENT AND THE FUTURE AT QB.

the future of our secondary is bright. 2014 can't come soon enough. Keep the purple pants. Get rid of those godawful jerseys. what was wrong with what they were wearing from 2006 until this year anyway? they may have been the best theyve ever worn.

jackman69, the future of the secondary is bright? Have you watched the games this season? Teams pass at will against this secondary. They make 3rd string and 4th string back up QB's look like Montana and Namath. If the Vikings can't get to the QB, it's pretty much a completed pass no matter who's throwing the ball. Ponder would be in the Pro Bowl if he played against the Vikings secondary. Smith is a good player and Rhodes will be. That leaves two places for QB's to kill us. They have found those two all season long. Did you forget that for half the season coach trotted Robinson out there in the slot defender position? He gave up completions on 90% of the passes thrown his way. Perhaps next season he can get that number down to 80%?
