Shakopee prison alone in nation in being unfenced, state says

Ivy League-style brick wall is proposed for the women’s prison, where an inmate briefly escaped this month.

Lived in Shakopee for 35 years. Number of inmates and type of offenses by them has changed dramatically over the years. Time for a brick wall to prevent escape attempts , appearance will not upset neighborhood residents or disrupt elementary school campus across the street.

'Millions" to install a brick fence? There is quite a labor force living there right now, use that.

A chalk line, and a guard with a .50 sniper rifle = no more escape attempts.
