Same injury and Peterson misses maybe one game, Parise misses one game and Mauer is out for about 6 weeks.

Put Patterson in there if Peterson and Gerhart can't play. Now that would be fun to watch. No plays needed. Just tell him what hole to hit and leave the rest up to him! The fridge with speed...OK half a fridge maybe...

Thinking the same thing, start 84 as RB!

Even with a sprained foot, Peterson had the guts to stand up and criticize the refs in a game that the NFL clearly wanted the Ravens to win. After all, now the Ravens are still in a playoff hunt and next week's Ravens/Packers game is meaningful. Thank you Adrian for not acting like the overly polite Frazier by stating the facts! All NFL fans deserve a fair game, no matter what the team records are.

With pro football nearing the control and planning that the wrestling 'stars' have worked under for the last couple decades, it won't be long and such questioning of calls and attempts to stir up controversy and therefore interest will have scripts for everyone to read.

rodneykline/uknowthagod - Patterson is by no means an accomplished wideout yet. He still needs a lot of work at catching the ball and running his routes. Shut Peterson down until the Dome finale and give Asiata the start for the hard work that he's done.

J_DubyaDec. 10, 13 9:46 AM

For the love of god, SHUT HIM DOWN. There is no longer anything to gain ...the Vikes only lose draft picks and put more wear and tear on AP's body by playing him. AP - do what's best for the team. Get some rest, then start training for 2014. Skol!

J_Dubya and I don"t care about records, we want playoff births. Shut him down for next year. It is a{ think about future thing}.

Note to AD: Jimmy Johnson common tator from Fox network said AD is done; his career is winding down now with all these injuries. What a moron.

timnilesDec. 10, 13 1:43 PM

I don't trust either the MRIs or CT scans for something like ligaments and tendons. Even if nothing is obvious from these scans, trying to use that foot could rip up weakened tissue. He has given us as much as anyone could wish this year, and now we should protect his career!
