Winter weather hit NFL gridirons in the East on Sunday, blanketing some playing fields with snow and causing sloppy conditions for players.
I was at the gym and decided to watch the fourth quarter of the Ravens & Vikings game since the snow covered field reminded me of the way games were played at the old Met Stadium.
I gave up football once the Vikes moved indoors to play what ever it is you want to call it, but it sure isn't football.
I have to wonder about the "The Ravens held off the Vikes, 29-26" comment: did you watch the game? There was no holding off by one team or the other - it was, as one of the TV announcers described, backyard football.
