The good news is that there are 4 young players who are really coming on for the Vikes and you can see that the Vikes are a contender even with their current roster with good QB play. Audie Cole led the team in total tackles again with 12, Patterson led the team in receiving yards to go along with his other game breaking skills, Floyd is starting to play well and #29 is looking like a future pro bowler. If the Vikes can sign Schaub in the off-season, draft Nix to provide a stud nose tackle to the defense while possibly garnering another 2nd rounder for moving back, they can use their remaining picks to fill in at D-end, corner and o-line. If they can sign another free agent offensive lineman to come in and put Charlie Johnson in a reserve-backup role to upgrade, it would be another plus. There will be 2 very good QB prospects that can be had in the 3rd or 4th round in Mettenberger(probable 3rd round with injury issue) and Logan Thomas(incredible upside and a probable 4th rounder). With Audie Cole coming on and the play of the 2 young linebackers from Penn State the Vikes may not need to draft a linebacker early at this time. Cole seems to have invigorated Greenways game too, which is good. The Vikes need 3 quality d-tackles to rotate and 3 quality d-ends to rotate to keep the pressure on the other teams QB at the end of games. Robison and Allen were gassed on the last few plays today and were worhtless out there when we needed them to perform. You have to be roating those guys at that time and throughout the game to keep them fresh, which means you have to have 6 quality d-lineman. We currently have 4, maybe 5 and Allen is the backside of his best days to boot. This team is not that far away and with a couple of good free agent signings(QB/O-line) and a good draft(stud NT, good D-end and corner)they can make a run at this thing while Adrian is still in his prime.

I agree with NorthSports. It seems the future may look bright with our young guys. Maybe we can find a QB and make the playoffs again in the next year or two. Maybe we can even pick up a few more guys and go deep into the playoffs and then, maybe, just maybe one day go to the super bowl and win it! Nahhhh. These are the Vikings. We've turned into the Lions of the NFC north.

Jack DelRio is my early choice for replacement of the coach. Important whoever comes in be given freedom to select the assistants, and play a major role in the draft.

Same old Vikings game, the Vikings D imploded in the 4th Quarter except this saga added horrific refs.

Ravens orchestrate zany comeback? Don't you mean the refs did? Merry Christmas Baltimore, hope you enjoyed your GIFT.

If the NFL lets the crew that officiated today's Vikings / Ravens game on the field again - they all need to be fired.

This is the same ref crew that did the NFC championship in New Orleans in 2010. It's criminal.

Vikings season in a nut shell. Even with the QB situation, and below avg O-Line play. The Vikings have scored enough to win at least 7-8 games. Special teams have given up the big plays at the worst times, and the Defense [and Coordinator] are horrible. Bright spots are hard to see, with the way the Team has played. Cassell once again played well, and made the big plays when the Vikes needed him to. He makes the Offense better, but for some reason, only Frazier knows, he will most likely be in a back-up roll to Freeman, or Ponder before the season is over. I have to admit that I couldn't understand why, after last year's surprise season, Frazier was not given an extension. I get it now. With the exception of Dungy, nice guy coaches finish last. It is time for a major change. If Spielman want's to keep his GM job, he will need to clean house, and start with the coaching staff. GO VIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The worst officiated and wackiest finish I can recall. You can add some bonehead coaching decisions at the end of the game. Clearly Frazier is over his head. But the officials clearly were deplorable; 1.) terrible call or the Gerhardt fumble in the first quarter. The head linesman even reviewed it. 2.) Holding call on Viking lineman on a big play in the first half. Reply clearly shows a non hold. Vikings would have had at least a FG. 3). Pass interference on Greenway in the 4th quarter. Clearly the receiver fell. 4.) Non call oof excessive celebration on Baltimore when 8 people were celebrating together in the 4th quarter. They would have kicked off 15 yards back and made a possible difference. There were also many other bad or non calls. Expect an apology from the league tomorrow, but what does that get you. Those officials should never ref an NFL game again.

Human beings are born with an innate desire to please other human beings. It's obvious that NFL referees choose to throw or not throw flags to please the home team fans. We saw ample evidence of that today.
