There may be "no perfect time," but there certainly is a better time than in the middle of this playoff run. You couldn't show this senior class that got you the job a little more respect? May I suggest you leave now please.

It's crazy that Bohl's best opportunity is Wyoming! 2 FCS titles and favored for a 3rd. Jim Tressel went from Youngstown St. to Ohio State with a few FCS titles in hand.

Kinda pulling a Lou Holtz..

Bob Devaney's last job before Nebraska was at Wyoming. Pelini will be gone soon enough, and Craig Bohl will return to his hometown--Lincoln, Nebraska. Over and out. P.S. Coach Bohl, good luck next September 6th, at Oregon, and September 20th, at Michigan State.

I wouldn't call this a Holtz. Bohl did the job he was paid to do and the Bison have 2 titles with a great chance for a 3rd one. Holtz is like the fly by night contractor for his time with the Gophers. Major college coaching moves are a pain in the butt for schools but Bohl should get nothing other than praise and thanks from ANY Bison fans. Probably good that he's leaving b/c Fargo will idolize a successful coach so much that it'd be hard for one not to go on a Rocky Hager level ego trip over time.

Hey, Minnesota...Bohl is leaving with a great record and is not taking a severance package with him. In fact, I read he has to NDSU $100,000 to break his contract. It sure beats the gopher way of success.

I think Craig Bohl saw the writing on the wall. He knew he was going to have a harder time getting recruits and needed to leave NDSU while they were on top. I doubt NDSU will win another championship.

He is going to a FB coaching graveyard. Former 2 time Nat'l. champ Joe Glenn of the U of Montana took the Wyoming job, beat UCLA and two years later was fired. The grass is not always greener in the coaching profession.

Nope....not the graveyard. One of the coaching legends of all time came out of Wyoming. Bob Devaney brought in the modern era of Nebr Div1 dominance and won two NC's, after his stint at Wyoming. Bohl learned from the best at Nebr. He will have Wyoming competing well in their conf in no-time.

"Hey, Minnesota...Bohl is leaving with a great record and is not taking a severance package with him. In fact, I read he has to NDSU $100,000 to break his contract. It sure beats the gopher way of success."---I must have missed it. Is he going to a Division I team this time?
