Maybe someone should ask the rest of us. Most of us don't want any part of it unless Zygi is paying the whole tab.

Seems to me everyone BUT the residents of Minneapolis get a say on what happens with this so-called "People's Stadium" we are stuck paying for.

The Vikings should have NO say in this matter. Signage is subject to various zoning ordinances and should be only subject to the City of Minneapolis Council's wishes as to any variances needed. The Vikings are so greedy in this I can't stand it. It never pays to try to deal with a New Jersey mobster.

it would hurt their ability to sell naming rights. No other financial entity would want to pay to put their name on a stadium when their competition would benefit from the advertising.

On one hand, does wells fargo have their name in bright lights on their other, much taller tower? No? So it's clearly a ploy to grab some free advertising. On the other hand, who cares? Every time the stadium is mentioned, it will be referred to by _________ Field, as it is now with MOA, so the naming rights holder will get their day in the sun often. The bigger question is why the Vikings have any say in this whatsoever.

The Wilfs are just upset that this is more potential source of funding they might have to cover themselves. I'm not sympathetic.

" put their name on a stadium when their competition would benefit from the advertising." ..............So in your mind, Wells Fargo ( a bank) and the Vikings (a sport team) are somehow in competition
