CDC: Tainted drinking water at Camp Lejeune in NC linked to birth defects, childhood cancer

RALEIGH, N.C. — A long-awaited study by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows a link between tainted tap water at a U.S. Marine Corps base in North Carolina and increased risk of serious birth defects and childhood cancers.

I am very glad some that someone cares enough to try to make sure the Marines and their families have safe water. The government really should ensure that everyone in our country has safe water. Companies that pollute our water and poison our environment need to be put out of business.
