Sure wish Haula was centering Cooke and Mitchell tonight; my guess is that line would be twice as productive as it is with Tin Man Brodziak at the helm. Also, Jason Zucker had a goal and two assists (plus another two near misses) in his return to Iowa. In fact, he looks like he's giving a clinic during certain shifts, especially on the power play. Perhaps someone's using him wrong up here? Again, this team won't move forward, it won't take the next step, until it starts trusting its talented youth--just like Chicago did...and LA...and Detroit is now...and St. Louis is...and, well, you get the idea. Guys like Kyle Brodziak, Zenon Konopka, and Mike Rupp just ain't gonna steer you toward a Cup.
