Talk about skewed priorities. Maybe house your homeless, so they don't come down to Minneapolis. The burbs need to begin pulling their weight!!

Cityperson, many of us in the burbs have this little thing on our tax statemtents called a "Fiscal Disparity Tax." That means that along with paying for our communiy taxes, we are also paying someone else's taxes. Consequently, inner city mayors can boast about how they "hold the line" on taxes. So, don't yell too loudly about who is not paying their weight.

You tell 'em Cityperson!! Brooklyn Park is frivolously spending money on golf courses when they could be following Minneapolis' example of spending millions on a pro football stadium and renovations for a pro basketball team.

Bet you a buck after next season you'll see an uptick in rounds at the 2 facilities. Hope MPRB does the same with Wirth and a couple of other courses. If you don't adequately take care of a golf course, then sell it or use it for something else.
