Mexico receives letter from drug lord Caro Quintero sought by US in 1985 killing of DEA agent

MEXICO CITY — Fugitive drug lord Rafael Caro Quintero sent a letter to the Mexican government asking officials not to give in to the United States' demand for his capture and extradition to try him for the 1985 killing of a U.S. federal agent.

Star and Tribune, I'm disappointed in you. Quintero was also convicted of killing a Minneapolis man, John C Walker. This fact is consistently left out of all reporting on this subject. It seems that the US is only interested in justice for Camarena-- but apparently not all American Citizens. This paper, of any, should be reporting on John Walker as you covered in extensively in 1985, the year John Walker went missing and was discovered dead from tortured later that year.
