SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — After years of inaction, Illinois lawmakers have approved a historic plan to finally close the gap on the state's $100 billion public pension shortfall, which is considered the nation's worst.

Now you know why Congress is making the USPS fund thier pension for 70 years. To all you union folks, you cant put 200 dollars a paycheck in for 35 years then collect 50,000 a year in pension until you die, the numbers dont add up.
