Next on the list - scoring an offensive touchdown.

sek2undrstndDec. 2, 13 7:45 AM on the list - playing a defense that isn't rated in the Top 5 in the nation. Do you know how defenses get rated Top 5 in the nation? They stop people from moving the ball and scoring touchdowns. The Gophers did one but not the other which is more than I can say for the majority of teams which played the Spartans. I have faith that the Gophers will score many more touchdowns in their second bowl game in two years.

The Gopher football team is turning the corner - time to accelerate into the turn as I learned in driving school.

An SEC opponent in the Gator Bowl would be exciting........another game versus the Big 12, not so much. I agree the Gophers were in both games versus Michigan State & Wisconsin but the bright future that is indicated from those games is the 2014 season, not a bowl game in Texas.

Country Jer' in his stocking cap and winter gloves paints a wonderful picture for southern recruits...not.

How do you even consider a trip to TallWeed, TX a "bowl game?" Wow! More like a post season scrimmage.....

If we had a QB that could have thrown the ball accurately, we could have won another 2 games. On WCCO radio yesterday, Kill said he focused on the defense thus far, but I am not sure what that means. As a big school college program with many assistants, why would couldn't he address both? I had no idea that to rebuild a program you focus 100% of your time on defense first and then suddenly find the time to address the offense. Makes no sense.

I already have a room booked in Jacksonville!! Come on, Gator bowl! Man up and make Michigan pay the price for their mediocre season. Minnesotans will travel to Florida and unlike Michiganders, we actually spend money!!!

First bowl game I've actively looked forward to for the Gophers in maybe a decade regardless of location. Well done boys.
