Quote... "I really liked how our guys competed"... I'd quote some more of the press conference that was not listed in the article but it gives me a headache. How Frazier can continue to state some of the cliche's about this team is beyond explanation. I am looking forward to a draft, new coaches, a new quarter back, a new defense, a new team.

I like the article on our young guys...the main missing ingredient is the short-armed DT. Guion is playing pretty good too....also the heart and soul of our defense I thing is Smith who is out now. He makes everything better.

If Frasier starts Henderson over Cole, he simply is tanking the season. Cole wasn't just better than Henderson, he was FAR better. I was glad to see the middle of the field defended for a change as far as passing was concerned.

He cut Cole then resigned him and played him because he had to. What exactly are the coaches doing? Just one game, but Cole looked like he should have been playing quite some time ago.

Frazier has to be the most indecisive Head Coach of all time. Henderson has been an obvious weakness for two years now. He leaves for 'personal reasons' forcing Frazier to start Cole. Cole turns in a great performance and Frazier is not sure what to do next. Frazier won't make a decision until Friday at the earliest. Here's help coach, START AUDIE COLE!!! Yikes.

They need to hire a Head Coach who has been successful in the NFL. A Head Coach that has won a Super Bowl. Lets make a list sports fans. Brian Billick would be a good hire. Most of the other guys that have won Super Bowls are stuck in their suits at ESPN or the NFL Network, or doing lame phone commercials.

Um, Billick has been stuck in his siut for the Fox Network since 2008. There 's a reason those suits stay there and almost never return...they find that they get paid a ton, have lots of free time to be with family and engage inn other money making activities.... And every move they make isn't criticized by internet experts. You want a successful coach? Find one who failed in their first head coach job....Belichik and Carroll for instance. Or find the hot assistant....Payton, John Harbaugh, McCarthy, Dungy. And no Frazier was never a hot assistant...far from it. You can try a college head coach but he better have some experience in the NFL as a coach or player. What has to happen is for Wilf to stop falling in love with every coach he meets and let the GM actually select his man. Hopefully we get to see it work the way it is supposed to this time around and Wilf stays away until the GM goes through his process. But don't look for any of the tv suits to come back...they aren't hungry ny more and some of them have been gone a long time and coached before the league got pass happy.

Yes, Cole did play well..... but where were the other two linebackers? They disappeared again along with a few other players.... when was the last time you saw a real viking linebacker who was dominant on the field? Matt Blair? Studwell? And please, watch the game films and see how easily blocked the linebackers were last weekend and every weekend, IF they don't over run the play... and then watch the packer linebackers who stayed at home. No, this could be coaching again and the wrong defense called again... or it could be, that our vaunted linebackers are just over rated..... I suspect the latter...

Really this isn't saying much, I mean he's also pleased with Ponder's performances.

You can look the Chiefs and say what a difference a coach makes. Pretty much the same players but a better use of them. The next Vikings coach will have pretty decent roster already. He'll then get to pick his new QB.
