Minnesota continues grand tradition of not pardoning turkeys

This turkey’s final destination will be a Salvation Army kitchen to provide a holiday meal. His brothers got luckier: They’ll be pardoned at the White House.

Interesting political point made about the food stamps program. Which has received a 350% + increase in the last 10 years or so and now sequester is going to eliminate a temporary increase to food stamps of around 10%. I hope more people take a little time to give a small amount of food to the food shelf charities this winter.
