Wild notes: Parise steams over waved-off goal

ST. LOUIS – Zach Parise still was perplexed after Monday’s 3-0 loss to the Blues for having a goal disallowed 30 seconds in.

It's ironic that the Wild's national TV games are less accessible to fans. DirecTV doesn't include NBCSN in it's standard package nor its Sports Pack; to get the channel it would cost an extra $17 per month. What a losing formula.

We get it on Dish. You miss lots of hockey both NHL and NCAA.

NHL screwed the Wild out of that goal by Parise. Clearly was not a high stick. Makes you wonder if someone in the NHL offices has something against the Wild? I mean the Wild get the short end all the time with stuff like this it seems. As far as the comments about DirecTV...I dropped DirecTV 3 years ago and went to DISH. Cheaper than DirecTV and more channels. Only rubs I have against DISH is that some of their sports channels are in HD only for the game and not HD full time...and every once in a great while, if a local game is moved to an alternate channel, it sometimes is in SD, not HD.

I live in Fl. but I spent 60 yrs in Mn. I subscribe to my cable provider's NHL package so I never miss a Wild game. I just want to say that a lot of money was spent to sign Parise and Suter but in my opinion it was the best spending the Wild have ever done to put a first class and competitive team on the ice. These two are class acts, provide leadership and give 110% all the time. The Wild most likely won't be Stanley Cup contenders this year..tho I think they'll make the playoffs...but they will not be taken lightly by any team they oppose. Congrats to all the team and the ownership.

Good goal. And Toronto was wrong. Contact was clearly made below Pietranglo's chest, which is below the crossbar. Do the video reviewers know basic geometry??
