The current occupier of the White House has shown himself to have absolutely no experience in foreign affairs, let alone domestic affairs. The only ones that are still supporting this fool are the uneducated, uniformed, freebie seeking voters. Even the democrats seeking re-election are backing away from this arrogant fool, liar in chief. Don't believe me? check out the number of democrats running for reelection supporting obamacare!

"$7 billion for two months?" -- It's Iran's own assets and it's for six months.

With the history of success in Egypt I will be looking into the night sky for that brilliant flash of light and mushroom cloud in the very near future.

And people laughed when we told them Obama is not up to the job of President of the United States. What did you expect from someone with zero practical experience at anything? America is in a steep decline under Obama, and his lack of experience is now becoming more evident every day. For those not still under the kool aid, you HAVE to stop electing democrats. Another four years like this, and we may never recover.

The estimates of the timetable for Iran to get a nuke is two months to two years depending on who you listen to... If you continue to back them into a corner, and they either make one, or the elephant in the room, the buy one.... then they are going to have only one option left. This is a step to deescalate the situation, and if it doesn't work, you can always go back and attack Iraq... I mean, Iran.... or some other nation....

bogie246: "$7 billion for two months? I wish I could negotiate with Obama just once." Doesn't seem so bad. The Teapublicans failure to negotiate and their shutdown of the government for three weeks cost us $24 billion.

And the editorial staff at the Strib are brilliant at analyzing geo-politics?! I doubt it. Obama is just another Neville "...peace in our time..." Chamberlain.

The most important aspect of the deal is that it lengthens the time frame it would take for Iran to develop a nuclear weapon should it decide to do so. But not by much — maybe only two months — and Iran retains its centrifuges. In exchange, the United States agreed to provide up to $7 billion in sanctions relief, including unfreezing about $4.2 billion in oil revenue."

So the US gives Iran $7 Billion to delay their Nuclear path by 2 months! Israel was right! Its a bad deal
