This is not a good team. Understand they probably won't win. Little effort at crunch time. I can't remember a team that so often shoots in the 35% range. They do it so often this year and last. I want something to change. This looks like its going nowhere.

Hey at least we'll have a lottery pick in a loaded draft cla..... oh wait we gave that away in a Wesley Johnson trade. But at least we have Kevin Love long ter....oh wait he's probably leaving after next year. sigh bleak future

Before this game the worst Wolves shooting performance was 36.2% at Cleveland. They've only shot under 40% four times, including this game. Yes they've had a few porous shooting displays but they're 2nd in pace of play and still manage to be in the top 10 in both offensive and defense efficiency. They've also had one of the most grueling schedules thus far w/ already five back-to-backs and they're tied with only Boston for most games played (16). The easiest part comes in March, where everything in the schedule should even out. I have a hard time tolerating irrational fans who expect immediate success from this team. You negative nancy's are just as bad as those who touted this team as a top-4 seed three games into the season. Patience is a virtue, people.

When a little kid can't make a ten-foot shot, you politely encourage her or him to move a little closer to the basket. I'd like to politely invite Wolves players to move a little closer to the basket rather than staying behind the three-point line that is treated like a deadly electric fence! It's just a line, fellas. You CAN step on it. You can even CROSS it. What's more, you can step IN TO your shot--of all thing! Most of you have opportunities--approximately half of the time--to take one or two dribbles TOWARD the basket before shooting. You're welcome.

Why does the brass think that Rubio has such great potential? He can't shoot at all, he gets consistently out-muscled and he can't finish at the rim. A couple highlight-reel passes per week isn't worth a max contract. The front office should beg Love to return and then go searching for a guard (point or shooting) that can get to the basket and finish.

simmys11, despite Rubio's shortcomings, he would excel if he were playing with good players who could shoot consistently. Brewer, Martin, Hummel, and Barea have either shot poorly or inconsistently. Pek often has trouble around the rim when he plays legit bigs and has very bad hands. If Wolves fans think our team's defense is bad, if Rubio hadn't been making the plays that he makes defensively, the outcome would be even worse. Yes, he gets beat, but so does everyone else. Trouble is, our two goalies, back-away-from-the-opponent Love and can't-alter-a-shot-to-save-my-life Pek, allow the opposition to score at the rim pretty much at will. The Wolves aren't going anywhere other than a possible one and done eighth seed with Love and Pek as our interior defense. Rubio has LOTS of room for improvement. He's only played the equivalent of one year in the NBA and the second half of that year he was coming off of a major knee injury. This is his second year, the beginning of his second year, and he will improve for many years to come. This might not be the right team for him, but I'd hang on to him before anyone else because he wants to win and will sacrifice to win. Love won't sacrifice. He won't take a charge. He won't foul. Instead, he backs away.

We traded williams for a bag of groceries who can't score- very impressive trade.......

Disappointed to hear about Williams. I really liked his potential. But at least this way he can go to a team that might actually give him an opportunity. Good luck, Derrick.

check the stats on Luc and it appears he is shooting at a 488 % which is far better than Williams and most of our subs. isnt Williams set to make 6.7 mil?? Luc is at apr 4.7? when one compares the stats, the $s, his experience at 27 yrs of age and ability play D ?? I dont see much downside. Not sure why people are so down on this deal, he isnt as bad on offense as being made out. Williams and his guaranteed contract are a huge gamble for any team, we were not going to get a Duane Wade for him.

..ps. Plus Luc must be able to play some,he's been averaging over 25 min per game on a pretty decent Kings team. Dont sound like a stiff to me.
