Great bounce-back after a very slow start tonight by the Gophers. Three goals in three minutes of an otherwise rough 1st period and Boyd's goal in the 2nd was just plain SICK! Not sure if the move around the defender was better than the shot or the other way around. Will hold off on the serious trash talk until the result of Sunday's game is known.

I love the consistency this team has shown. Freshman or not these guys can play. No doubt they are the #1 team right now. Man, they are this good now, imagine if they still had some of the guys that left early? Unreal...

Good call JRB. This team seems a lot hungrier than last years team. Perhaps the players who departed might have tainted this team.

6 to 1...and the first poster can't wait to criticize! Apparently nothing this young team and coaches do is enough. Couch sitters are an American disease...This group can be something else if they play like this and stay together for a while. And Wilcox, good SSP kid, will keep them in a lot of games. Go, Gophs!

This team is just...an overall GOOD team, there isnt one stand out or one line they need to rely on. They look great playing together and are fun to watch. Keep it up Goph! Its early, but maintain your drive and we should be seeing some hardware come April!

Coulda, woulda, shoulda... I like the debate on here today. I'm watching my 6th decade of Gopher puck. Since the Boston weekend I have formulated the thought that this edition may not have the talent level of the past couple of seasons, but this is a better TEAM. Good luck tomorrow boys! Sweep the Dogs!!!
