Nice reporting: "Seifert had been considering a campaign for months and finished second as a write-in during a recent straw poll at a state GOP meeting." Who finished first?

PS... I may regret this statement later on, but does it matter at all who the republican candidate is? As an independent, I am not thrilled with Dayton and his lieutenant governor, Wilf, but I know Emmer is not and was not the answer either. And yes, now you know why Jesse Ventura won.

The party threw Marty under the bus 3 years ago and lost. He is a classy guy...but my guess is they will again throw him away and run an extemist who will fail.

Thank you Mr. Seifert. If you are a true Republican and want to see a Republican win the governor's seat, then attend the caucuses and support Mr. Seifert. I will see you there.

I'm sure the tea party will be able to find someone to lose this election for the MNGOP.

Marty Seifert is by far the best choice in this race. He's got my 100% support.

I am a Democrat but I will vote Republican if we they present a viable candidate. I will never vote for someone with the same thinking as Michele Bachmann. We need people with fiscal responsibility, but know the separation between church and state.
