The playoffs are a remote possibility, but the Vikings coach knows a victory is needed to build momentum.

Playoffs? That's funny...they'll get the number one pick and clueless Leslie will be out the door taking the entire staff with him and that Rick I've ruined two NFL football teams Spielman with him

Playoffs, playoffs? Did somebody say playoffs? Give it a rest, Sid, this season was toast as soon as it began. It is tough to win in a pass-happy league without a competent QB.

Sid is just quoting Frazier who will say anything to try and keep his job. At this rate he won't make it to the end of the season. Ask Chilly.

The amatuer / low budget clown show at Winter Park (being run by the two Wilf stooges headquarted in New Jersey) is becoming more and more entertaining by the day. These desperate and beaten down losers actually believe the lies they are spewing to the local yokel media and the ever dwindling number of us purple homers. What is even funnier is that this pathetic organization has yet to hit bottom.

"The playoffs are a remote possibility." HUH?????? The vikings are tied for the WORST record in the NFC with a 2-8 record. Their are 8 teams in the NFC right now that have 4 more victories than the vikings competing for 6 available playoff spots. It is absolutely impossible for the vikings to make the playoffs even if they were to run the table which is even more impossible than their impossible chances of making the playoffs this year. For anyone to even think let alone utter that the vikings and "playoffs are a remote possibility" is well beyond stupidity and comprehension.

How do you get through to a guy like Frazier? Does he really believe what he is saying or is he delusional? Of course he can't say that the season is lost, but he can try to save his own skin by experimenting with other players.

Well Sid you did parrot what Frasier has running out of his mouth but I don't believe you agree with his assessment do you? Frasier has to look at some point at the overall status for his leadership: 1)ongoing injuries...AP bad once and now weekly, most every talented player has been seriously injured and are now on injured reserve 2)game defeats worst ever 3)same personel but no change in schemes on D or Offense by untested OC and DC's that result in progressively worse outcomes as all opponents have figured out Frasier's team and so they know what the D and O are doing when the teams line up 4) Frasier weekly states: "well we did some good things, Ponder looked good in practice, Ponder gives us the best chance to ????? and now Ponder had success against the Pack????what interceptions/sacks/fumbles/getting his skill people killed by his inaccurate/weak throws???? Speilman hired Frasier who hired Musgrave and Williams all have earned to be terminated last week. I live in Seattle and the bar cheers when Ponder gets sacked voicing the hope he gets permanently injured so the good Vikes don't get punished by the Frasier/Ponder train wreck....Hard to listen to this when I really thought with AP and D with improvements we would make the playoffs. Ponder regresses weekly and can only say he is selfish and wants another redemptive try and I say WHY. The season can not end quick enough and I feel you don't see playoffs in any way either.

The end of the season can't get here soon enough. Frasier who not only seems to show no interest in the game he's coaching but is obviously now delusional can't be fired fast enough. I do agree with him with playing Ponder because this is their best chance to not win anymore games and get a better draft choice.

I really don't think Fraizer understands why they're losing. When he speaks, he lacks specificity about what exactly is wrong and what exactly is the remedy. A well meaning earnest guy with a great demeanor but I don't think he's up to the job. Listen to Flip disect an NBA team or individual palyer's strengths and weaknesses. That's what the Vikings need. That's what thier players need.....coaching.

The headline is wrong. Frazier is focusing on D..... you know, dysfunctional, denial, and delusional..... I hope for the sake of MN fans that his decisions are aimed at getting MN the first choice in the upcoming draft.
