This kind of behavior is similar to many towns.

Can't these fools find a patch of land in North Dakota where no one lives to start their utopia?

Since when is patrolling your own property with a firearm (assuming it's legally owned) a crime? What's the rest of the story here?

Never mind, I read the whole story on the Bismarck Tribune and I get it now. Star Tribune, you could do with a few more details.

I found the Nov. 12 article in the Bismarck Tribune that I assume that careyd is referring to. It says little about the individual's neoNazi activities; just depicts him as a bit of a loser. But those are the sorts that take out their frustrations on convenient targets.

The most recent article in the Bismarck Trib (posted early this morning) seems to say basically the same things as the Strib article.

darkcircle - please tell me what other towns have people walking around the town armed with loaded guns pointing them at people. Stopping cars and yelling obscenities while pointing their loaded weapons at them.

Anybody remember the 1970's and Skokie, IL? Same type of deal. If memory serves the ACLU got involved and successfully defended the Nazis' right to free speech. Unfortunately even in the "enlightened" time of 2013 there's no shortage of knuckle-draggers but so far these particular Troglodytes haven't been CONVICTED of anything, except, of course, in the Court of Public Opinion. They were standing on the edge of their property holding guns in a "threatening" manner but even the complainants admitted that the guns were not pointed directly at them. Innocent until PROVEN guilty. Rule by hysteria is the worst form of tyranny.
