President Obama is trying to make it possible for Americans to keep their health insurance coverage if they like it. But his now infamous promise may not be realistic. Obama said last week that insurers should be allowed to continue selling individual coverage plans that would be deemed substandard under the health care overhaul to existing customers. The decision came after millions of people received cancellation notices alerting them that their plans would not have complied with overhaul coverage requirements set to begin next year.

It is simply amazing that the President is now back pedaling on the VERY LAW he signed into action. This type of knee jerk leadership is going to kill this country. No company in the WORLD would survive with band aid decisions and knee jerk responses to key issues. If people get to keep plans that don't comply then the whole cost structure will be wrong and need to be revised. What does a 1 year extension do for the "long term"? Companies run with long term plans and strategic visions - what is the long tern vision/plan for our country?? Lead by putting ban aids on the crisis' as they arise?? Did you fall asleep in your leadership classes in college? Vote the incumbents OUT regardless of party and let's get folks in office who can create a LONG TERM vision and strategy for our country or our kids will be doing nothing but paying off our debt!!!
