After purchasing the "Ticket" for NFL games, and being burned as there really aren't that many games where I felt the Vikings were worth the money - so...I thought I would watch a Timberwolves game - before I made the purchase - glad I did because I don't think I could stand seeing one more team dogging it....I know that the Wolves have played well, but tonight's game was a real laugher with absolutely NO defence, and I mean NO defence! With any sort of "D" this game was winable, but with Rubio having zero points, and Pek looking like his feet were nailed to the ground the scoring was left to a few - but, it was not to be enough,so I think II will save a few bucks this year and limit myself to watching a few games when televised on Network TV.

Same old same old. This team cannot beat any playoff teams.

I am puzzled as to why Adelman did not play Dieng a little bit in order to reduce the free passes to the rim that Love in particular was giving. It wasn't even matador defense; Love simply backed out of the way rather than attempt to take a charge or send the guy to the line once or twice. Also, where was DWill? Is he injured? Hopefully, Rick hasn't given up on Williams and Shved nine games in. I know Shved has played horribly to date, but players have to play themselves out of slumps and be given chances to redeem themselves. JJ went through a bad stretch and is now back to his old self, so maybe Shved can too. The only way to develop a bench is to play the bench. Then, maybe Rubio wouldn't be so exhausted and Love would continue playing defense like he has up until tonight's game when his first half defensive performance was YMCA atrocious.

pursuit, but remember Pek can claim "the strongest player in the league" award even though he can't jump and is pretty bad on defense and his offense is spotty. IMO, he needs to drop fifteen pounds.

Kahn wisdom flashback...(draft Flashy Johnny Flynn and give away solid Ty Lawson). That will be my last Kahnism. Rubio missed blocking out Miller at the top of the key...that was a critical mistake as they tried to claw out a win. Fared goal tended Martin and fouled Love in the last 3 seconds, but the game was over by then, but I want to give the assist to the Zebra on those 2 swallowed whistles. Agree with the post about developing the bench. They can't find their mo-jo sitting on the bench. Williams and Shved have the talent...have to give them more time to see if they have the heart.

There was no defense from anyone. Love should not be singled out as it was everyone. Corey had his first game where he looked disinterested on defense just like everyone else. If JJ doesn't have one of his games where he goes off, we would have never been close. A reminder to the squad that we have to play good team defense in order to win.

@krellcoda. Can't beat playoff teams? What do you call OKC, LAL and DAL? Yeah....PLAYOFF TEAMS

tcstunnerNov. 15, 1311:08 PM

Oh I forgot the Knicks. So 4 of their 6 wins are against teams that made the playoffs and krellcoda says they can't beat playoff teams. LOL

I wouldn't call this a bad loss by any means, but it was a frustrating loss. They're playing a decent team on the road and a team that has playoff potential. The Wolves didn't play well defensively, no doubt about that. They looked like they had never seen the pick and roll in their lives at times. Offensively, Ricky didn't score a point in the game. When you only play 8, everyone better contribute offensively.

Our loan shot blocker, Dieng, never got off the bench. He can't learn the game sitting over there. And it was pretty clear we'll need someone to protect the rim.
