This isn't good. The author of this article is implying that it's a "good thing" if Plunder starts.

I have supported Frazier for his career but I am really questioning him on his choice as backup QB this week. OK go with Ponder but why not have Freeman as backup? You have brought him in and he is still not ready? Thats starting to show me it's the coaching staff. How can other teams get people ready but the Vikings can't? The same with Patterson, other teams have gotten rookies on the field right from the start of the season but here we are in the second half of the season and he is not a full go?! Maybe it is time to take a look athe entire coaching staff.

Ponder had 63 yards and a 37 QB Passer rating last year. Yet it seems Frazier and the Vikings are excited to play him vs Seattle. Pathetic. Seattle wins in a blow out and Vikings get excited about Ponder throwing for 200 yards, 1 pick and a 90 QB rating. Oh well one step closer to high draft pick for QB of future.

Every 10 starts or so Ponderosa is good for 1 good game, AT HOME. Any Ponder supporters from last week, will quickly be brought back to reality. During his 3 years in the Pro's Ponderosa is a bottom 5 starter in his league as a whole.

Methinks Leslie Frazier is still trying to Ponder a square peg into a round hole..
