Sensing that Charlie Coyle still was beating himself up over a bad game Saturday at Carolina, Wild coach Mike Yeo pulled the second-year forward aside Tuesday.

Coyle is a beast, that play last night was so huge and he deserved to be the #1 star of the game. What a steal! I can't wait to see him back at 100%, he's going to be a huge part of this club going forward.

I think Coyle is going to evolve into a pre-Rangers Nashesqe type of player. It's nice to see the young guys stepping in and playing to their abilities. Granny, Coyle, Brodin, & Fontaine have been outstanding thus far. Thinking of what we have down in Iowa a guy can't not be happy with the future of the Wild. Harding has been a stud, but did you see Bernier play last night? Think how we would look with a Bernier/Harding tandem in net. At least Fletch tried for Bernier.
