There is only one reason why democrats will back healthcare law changes...the worry about re-election! They weren't worried about it when it was being forced down the throats of the American public. They weren't worried about it when the House voted to repeal it. They weren't worried about it back when there was a threat of government shutdown. They're only worried about it now, because it may effect their chances for re-election. Let them know, in November 2014 and 2016, that they had too many chances earlier and voted against the American public's best interests during their master's first term!

They should have thought about "splitting" with the community organizer back in 2009! They've had many chances to "split" with the king-wannabe many times in the past, but now, they only worry about 1 thing...re-election! Hold their feet to the fire, folks. DO NOT let them off the hook for voting against the wishes of their constituents, because 63+% were against obamacare since the very beginning!

The repeal of the Obamacare fraud is going to be bipartisan. Even the liberals know realize that the Republicans were right when they warned everyone about this debacle.

I love how these clowns are shocked at what is happening. Critics of Obamacare have been saying for several years now that all of these things were going to happen. We were called crazy, hateful, even racist. Now that our predictions have proven true Dems are acting like no one ever told them. They need to own this disaster. We did all we could to prevent it. Al Franken was the deciding vote and he must go.

If it goes through, they are toast and they know it. The insurance company is helping the regressives as much as possible, I wonder why? instead of up to 60 % profit, it is set at no more then 20 and if it goes over that they have to refund the public under Obama care. Also United healthcare, under the prevailing system gave their CEO a golden parachute of 1.2 billions dollars. Those bonuses and ones a 1000 time less then that with be gone, as in toast under Obama care > They are going to be watched like hawks on all bonuses under Obama Care. What all progressives should be rooting for, is single payer added to Obama Care. It's the nest step so we progressives have to work on this. So basically the regressives are just in this to protect the massive profits that the healthcare industry has they have had in the past. and protected the executives of these companies, so they can continue with these absurd bonuses that they aren't worth 1/1000 of.

"I think the Upton bill is terrible, but we need something else to vote for in order to keep our word to the American people," Doyle added." ... a terrible bill is a reason to vote against it.

Once again, the Democrats show no spine. Start to take pieces out of the ACA, and the GOP will only use it as leverage against the President, *all* Democrats (whether they vote with them or not), and the ACA. The GOP has no interest in health care for the masses - only for political points.

There is only one simple problem, The prices for Obama care are dirt cheap and once that is realized the party over regressives. People that haven't had insurance in the past of course get shell shock at what I call dirt cheap but for someone that has been paying for my own insurance . I know it's dirt cheap. Family of 4 average income of 50,000.00 a year $280.00 a month , how are you going to argue against that regressives. Oh I know you will go back attacking the president, what a laugh.

By the way, cash, the ACA was based on Republican Romneycare, which was based on the 1990's Republican answer to Hilarycare, which was based on a Heritage Foundation template. If there's any fraud in it, it's of Republican origin.

drfrankt, once again you lump in those who want *more than* the ACA with those who don't want the ACA, creating an erroneous and misleading statistic.
