The Vikings rookie receiver, who could start vs. Seattle, is tired of the Harvin comparisons.

110 receivers with more playing time than Patterson? How is that even possible? Does Frazier even know he's part of the offense? Does he know we spent 3 picks to get him? And then to hardly use him is obscene. Does the word incompetent mean anything to Zygmunt? As if we needed more reasons to question Frazier's ability as a head coach.

Frazier's excuse for not playing Patterson? We're trying to work him in to the offense. Trying to work him in? The guy is a PLAYMAKER. You get the ball IN HIS HANDS as much as possible. I don't care if you turn him into a running back and hand the ball off to him. You put the ball in his hands and watch him go. You hear me Frazier? Good. I hoped this quick lesson on coaching helps you. You obviously need it.

So far, at least, Patterson has suited up for every game. Does anybody think that Harvin will ever play all 16 games in a season? I wonder how long before the Seahawks get disgusted with him.

Frazier and his 'Friendly Fellows' crew constantly amazes me how much they make excuses or cover for truth and reality. Work him him huh? Its a double damnation. They realized Ponder is a fail at deep and intermediate route passing, and the fact of this bizarre discombobulation of our entire offensive line that hasn't been able to create a successful WR screen yet this year that was so frequently utilized last season with Harvin.

I haven't heard any comparisons between Patterson and Harvin. And given that only official Vikings organs like kfan and the strib still talk about the Vikes in the present tense, I have to assume the strib is trying to create some news.

Frazier said the coaching staff has brought Patterson along as quickly as possible, knowing the rookie entered the league fairly raw as a receiver. Patterson said he has made improvement “everywhere,” but it’s clear he doesn’t lack confidence in his ability to make plays. Another example of the ineptitude of this coach and his so-called coaches. At 2-7, PUT HIM IN and maybe this team can play spoiler! What is the hold up? The only kiss of death is if he runs the opening kick off back 100+ yards for a TD. This a guarrantee loss for sure.

Keep him on the bench. He is a gamechanger. We need a good QB and most of a defense. You win too many games using this sort of talent intelligently.

I thought it was supposed to be Jarius Wright that would make us forget about Harvin. That's really worked out, huh?

Sounds like Patterson has a good attitude. That is good to see. I suspect Frazier's delay in utilizing all of Patterson's skills will only be a small part in why we Vikings fans will likely see Patterson stick around a lot longer than Frazier. Being too tentative is not a positive attribute for a NFL Head Coach IMHO.

Vikings lose by 40+ and obviously severely outcoached, Frazier still keeps his job.
