The Vikings might give Simpson a pass but the NFL won't with his drug history. If convicted Simpson will likely get a suspension. The Vikings would be better to play Patterson now so he will be ready for the playoffs..

I predict that he has now played his last game for the vikings. Very dumb move by simpson. This could be a blessing in disquise as the team is now forced to let Patterson learn on the field. This season is lost anyway so Patterson can use the added PT do improve his game, his athleticism is amazing.

Frazier is a coach that talks like that? Wow...wouldn't inspire me at all.

Regarding Coach Frazier's decisions to the media, I found it quite ironic the Packers head coach right after Sunday's game said he would be starting 3rd string Scott Tolzien next week. Ask Frazier a similar question and he needs to review tape, take 5 days to decide, basically wait for our GM to tell him.

siouxchamp hit it right on the head. Frazier is a puppet and Speilman is ruining everything. I hope the Wilf's want something better because if they don't we're doomed to have a really bad org in a beautiful facility that the public paid for the majority of. How did it ever get this bad?

Frazier is not a leader. He can't decide anything regarding personnel and leaves everything up to his coaches who are not up to the job. This is also apparent during the game when his stoic gaze and lack of emotion exhibits his lack of control over what is happening on the field. Time to consider who will be standing on the sidelines next season.

While I will agree that Mr. Frazier does not appear to have the head coaching abilities, to want a screaming lunatic on the sidelines does not inspire most people. I do not remember Bud Grant doing it on the field, likely behind the scene.

When the going gets tough, watch a lot of Vikings "fans" throw in the towel. ... Some are actually hoping they lose or Ponder has a bad game to prove a point in spite of the team winning. ... Viking fans could benefit from having a little more moxie.

Simpson is now expendable based on his own behavior. He did not respect the chance the Vikings gave him. Cut him loose and let the rookie play.
