The Wild had breakdowns in several areas, but had just enough puck luck to nip Carolina.

Glad to see the win despite not having their "A" game tonight. Choppy play made it horrible to watch as a fan. Still not a big supporter of the gimmicky shootout; but I'm glad all 3 shooters could find the back of the twine. Back to the X to keep another win streak going!

Now maybe you understand why my posters have the flavor of them that they do and why the team is not believable...... That Carolina team is horrible, absolutely horrible. Similar to that of the teams the Wild have been beating

bhrnew1l, I don't try and understand your post nor should anyone else because you have no idea what you are talking about. The last time I checked a win is a good thing. No matter how poorly you play it is still a win. Pittsburgh got outplayed by a terrible Rangers team and lost 5-1. I bet Crosby would of loved a shootout win that night. It happens in a 82 game season. The Wild outplayed Washington and lost in a shootout. Again, it is going to happen. Bhrnew1l, I did put a call into Chuck Fletcher and asked him to call you and apologize for the terrible win tonight. Please wait by your phone, the call will be coming soon. hehehehehe. Keep up the hard work Wild. Most of us are behind you.

In an 82 game sked you are not going to be able to hang every victory on the wall, but 2 pts is 2 pts. And hey, the Canes to me are one of the most enigmatic clubs in the show. They win games you didn;t think they would or should and lose oi

marcus100254Nov. 10, 1312:47 AM

con't... and lose in the same fashion. But, Wardo is out, #2 netminder (Kuh-dobey)is out, and along comes Peters and stymies the Wild. An NHL road victory is challenging and the Canes have some top notch talent. This game wont go in the trophy case but can't be denied either. The Wild beat an NHL team in their house tonight. I'll take it. What I can't take is the ultra sensitive mouse/cursor/keyboard on my new laptop. arrrggghhh. Lets go Wild!

A sloppy win with this team is 10 times more entertaining than a defensive chokehold win from previous seasons. There's a different aura about this team. They seem much more dangerous, even when they are dragging a bit. Nice win.

@ Clayton, My posters have some Genius in them, you would have to have followed them from the beginning of the, change of ownership to truly appreciate the accuracy, to show you I have my finger on the pulse, I will give you a free pick for an upcoming contest........Mister Know it all

Guys, road points in the NHL are very difficult. We got 3 out of 4 - Wash was pretty hot leading into that game as well. As long as we have solid goaltending we can steal a few games just like any other team has to do during the season - with our record we would be tied for #1 in the east right now - I would say things are trending generally well for the team.

Klayton, it is pretty obvious that Bhrnew is really D.R. He says he has been posting on here since the new ownership... I believe that's when he got canned. Come on Bhrnew, move on, it's not your team anymore and Fletch is showing you up. It will be ok.

The Wild are 7th in the Western Conference. They are playing better, but after last night, they have a long ways to go. They still are a bubble playoff team and will need to make huge improvements as the year progresses.
