If Obama was interested in fixing the "cancellations", HE would NOT have created the problem in the first place!!! It is HIS personal regulations that are forcing insurers to cancel their policies because they don't meet Obamacare's standards including MATERNITY CARE for men and post-menopausal women! Yes, that's right, people are paying for coverage they have absolutely no use for. Why? Because what Obamacare truly is is a giant WEALTH REDISTRIBUTION scheme. Groups who lean Democrat are getting free or subsidized insurance. Of course, if you make $1 over the "average" income, you don't get subsidies, and a lot of Democrat voters are getting caught in the double-whammy of price increases and missing out on the welfare state gravy train of Obamacare subsidies. So those dimwitted middle-class Democrats who thought Democrats were only going to hammer "the rich" are finding out that THEY, too, are getting hammered by the Democrats vote buying, wealth redistribution scheme. Did you know that married couples are considering DIVORCE to qualify for Obamacare subsidies? And that some people are looking to REDUCE THEIR INCOMES (and thus pay less taxes) to qualify for Obamacare subsidies? From millions added to the welfare state, to millions getting hammered with wealth redistribution, to reducing the incentive to work, to breaking up families, EVERYTHING that the Democratic Party stands for is embodied in Obamacare. And that is EXACTLY why zero Republicans voted for it and almost every Democrat (except for a few) did vote for it!

herby2013, Obama did not write the bill. It was written by health insurance companies. Just like the financial laws are written by CITI, Goldman, etc. Obama probably has never read the bill, originally a product of the right wing think tank known as "The Heritage Foundation" I got news for you. Congress doesn't read the vast majority of bills. They just sell their signatures to the highest bidders.

The SS Obama ship is sinking fast due to portentous planning and idiocy thinking! Look how the Democrats are now running for the gangway to get away from this odious President. The only President whom never ran any business of any kind and was never in the Military. He is a flat out Socialist tring to steer all of this country to become just like the ones in Europe. What a waste for all us and this country.

Obama cant fix the problem he caused. It was by his hand the insurance companies dropped these people. As 2014 creeps along you will see Obamacare drag on the economy and add to the debt.

Mauian....."Obama did not write the bill. It was written by health insurance companies. Obama let the Health Companies write the OUTLINE of the bill, but the real details were written by Sebelius in the more than 11,000 pages of regulations given to her by Obama. Including the destruction of private health care plans by making minor changes to make them illegal.

It is a bad thing that seniors have mandatory maternity care coverage if true. Perhaps an under 26 year old daughter would be covered. No insurance company's actuary ever knowingly scheduled a giveaway coverage in an insurance policy. You pay for what you get. Perhaps more competition will be coming regarding these topics. From 2000-2010 I saw 5-20% annual increases in healthcare insurance, the last couple of years have been relatively stable. Homeowners policies more than doubled in cost from 1997-2006. I have not filed an auto or home insurance claim ever. I must have minimum insurance to drive. I can't buy a la carte cable TV channels either. Where's that competition? By the way the world is still waiting for George W. Bush to fulfill his promise of Iraq's WMD's, drone program and nuclear program.
