A true class act and an absolutely legendary D tackle. He is a sure fire hall of famer; and a great example of a Viking with class.

When the Vikings drafted Sharrif Floyd my reaction was excitement at putting Floyd and Williams together in the middle of the D-line. Then we're told that they would share time at the under tackle position. I know that it's a positive now that Williams and Floyd are now going to play together but again you have to wonder about the coaching. The only way the coaches seem to be figuring this out now is due injuries to the Evans and Guion. Sad.

Glad he decided to self motivate for this game. He is paid to get motivated for the every game. The defense is terrible and he is one of the main reasons why!

First Kluwe is the best of all-time, now HOF for Williams. Who's next, Ponder?

My first thought was WOW what could have happened this season if the coaches had been a little creative and Williams was a little flexible in where he played on the line.Even if he is double teamed at nose tackle he draws the bodies to the middle of the play forcing running backs to run outside into the ends....Think about it Kevin.

he sounds kind of wimpy.he obviously makes our defense better playing ther nose but is reluctant to play there cause it physically more violent.

Nose tackles are routinely double teamed, unless they aren't much at the position. That takes double teams off the rest of the d-line. It's a pretty thankless position, which is why it takes someone with a special mindset to want to play there. We got a chance to see that the Vikings need a good nose tackle. Apparently Guion and Evans haven't been doing enough in the middle of the line. Time for more mysterious injuries.

Vikings should hire chauffeur's for their players when they are given time off due to bye week or playing on Thursday night. How many times has this happened in the past?
