Probably won't be too many people up north that will want North Dakota's dirty oil coming across our state.

I can just see the nimbys driving clear across the state burning off tons of fuel claiming they don't need oil to heat their homes, provide food, education and luxurious lifestyle they have become accustomed to.

Confused on two points. First, the article says the pipeline will transport Bakken oil. Later, it says Enbridge plans to boost pumping station capacity and add another pipeline across Minnesota, "boosting its capacity to carry CANADIAN oil by 40 percent to 800,000 barrels per day." Second point: What happens to the oil when it gets to Superior?

The article fails to mention the small business that will lose out when the water and soil is polluted for the oil. It will devastated tourist dollars from the hunters and fishermen when the waterways are polluted which will happen. There have already been leaks and polluted water. Minnesotans should be taking actions so these pipelines aren't completed. The article also fails to mention how the tar sand oil being refined will be shipped out at Superior to India and China thus driving up the price of oil in MN.
