I don't have a clue about the number of Big 10 wins, but I'm excited about the team. The commitment to conditioning and the buy in to the new system are key. Now if Coach can recruit a couple of Bigs for next year and a replacement for Austin Hollins 2014-2015 will be a shot at the title.

When you run and play hard defense you can win and win on the road.

Thanks BTN. When that network was created and self promoted, all games (we were told) were going to be on TV in HD.

What Jerry did for football, young Richard will do for the baskeball program. He will develope a hard working and well coached team that will make us all proud. Go Gophers!

Finally, a coach that will get the best out of his players. By February a Pitino coached team will be getting better instead of worse like we have seen the last 6 years. This should be a fun ride.

And, we don't get to see it. Are you freaking kidding me?! And we aspire to compete with the meriad other interests/activities/entertainment in this city? Wow. Would Duke not televise every game?!

This all sounds very encouraging and I am very excited already for the start of the Big 10 Season. It very much sounds as if Pitino has these guys all buying into his program, I mean Walker losing 60 pounds that is amazing! If the players maintain their commitments to playing hard nose defense throughout the season while keeping their academic eligibility intact they could capture the hearts of Minnesotan’s very quickly. The fans here have been waiting patiently for a consistent respectable Gopher Men’s Basketball program to cheer for. Go Gophers!

alright as we all know tonight's game is the begining of the Pitino Era here at Mn.I'm looking forward to a very good season from this team only more so because we have a new head coach and a different way to play this game. I want to see this team prove to all those who say this team has not got what it takes to be a better team in this conference. Ever since Pitino was hired all I see is negative remarks about our coacH and this team. I say this that once this season is over everyone will agree that we finally have a coach we like and a team that can play well against any other team in the BIG.
