Warner Bros. tells Ill. park districts they can't use 'Polar Express' name without a license

CHICAGO — Northern Illinois communities that run "Polar Express" train rides every holiday season are getting the legal equivalent of a lump of coal in their stockings from the company that owns the rights to the name.

I could understand Warner Brothers being upset about a mall or amusement park using it's name/property (Polar Express) and wanting compensation. But these are community events- I'm assuming a "not for profit event". Seems like they could cut some slack for these.
