Vikings win, Ponder injured after guiding comeback

The script was remarkably fitting on a night that started one way and veered completely in an opposite direction.

Good win and fun game to watch in spite of the coach. The timeouts were probably the stupidest decisions I have ever seen a Vikings team make. If the defense needs a break, let the clock run out before calling it. Frazier is not NFL quality.

A sad day. The more victories, the less likely the Vikes will get the quarterback they need to lift them out of mediocrity. Ponder got his chances and one game (that includes an injury!) does not prove anything.

Ponder 17-21. Lets not get carried away. 8 of those passes were at the line or a yard behind the line. Question. Vikes obviously made some defensive halftime adjustments. When there are 20 coaches on the sidelines all wearing headsets, is it illegal for them to make adjustments over the headsets? Why does it take till the half? Raymond,Robinson, Robison are all horrible and when they play, Sanford, Cook and Rhodes are just as bad. Geenway is not having a good year. Out of postion and takes horrible angles. Whats with the TO at the end of the game Frasier?

So for the 2nd time in 3 years, we beat the Skins and take ourselves out of the running of a high draft pick and getting a qb. unreal

Let's go with Cassel the rest of the way. He can read defenses and is very composed under pressure. Plus he has our 2 victory's.

Everyone keeps worrying about the QB. He may not be good, but is much better than the defense. The D-line is marginally okay, but behind that they are terrible.

You can't make up stuff like this. Only in Minnesota sports Purgatory!

Maybe you guys watched different games. I saw MV Ponder DOMINATE, and saw Cassel come in cool and secure the lead. I saw our defense destroy RGIII. The guy everyone's been crying about not getting. He just lost to our "horrible" team and I don't see him with any superbowl rings. Ride this wave to 9-7 and possible playoff hopes! SKOL!
