Vulcan's doing a flyby. We haven't discovered warp drive yet so they are not stopping.

Ditto on the picture suggestion, or an "artist's interpretation" of what this thing is supposed to look like. And please, headline writers, lose the word "baffled." It's not like these scientists are wandering around their offices and labs aimlessly stroking their chins or scratching their heads, so blown away that they act as if they are stoned or something. As of right now they don't have a working theory as to why this thing looks as it does. Give them time. Baffled? I don't think so. Curious and interested in studying it? You bet! Baffled is when I hid the cat's toy under a rug and it can't figure out where it is.
